Alpha Chi Holiday Luncheon, December 11, 2021

On December 11, 2021, Members of Delta Pi Delta Alumnae chapter of Alpha Chi Omega met for a Christmas celebration at Imperial Golf Club in Naples, Florida. The group was large, festive and dressed in the colors of Christmas. Our hostess, Donna Porter, provided a beautiful luncheon and included on the menu our perennial favorite at Imperial, sticky buns. As usual, they didn’t disappoint.

In keeping with the season, we had a Holiday Cookie Exchange. Members brought 2 or 3 Christmas cookies for each person at the meeting. The cookies were wrapped individually, but in such a way that each of us could choose the cookies we wanted. Our chapter also had a  “jacket drive” for abused women and children of all ages at the shelters in Lee, Collier and Hendry counties.  The shelter requested that the jackets be without prominent logos. Members also brought women’s personal items and gift cards to grocery, drug and department stores. As usual, at our Christmas meeting every year, we had a group photo taken when the luncheon was over.
